The National Anti-Doping Center of Ukraine and the Polish Anti-Doping Agency have signed a cooperation agreement

The national anti-doping organizations of Poland and Ukraine have signed a cooperation agreement. The main purpose of this cooperation will be to strengthen mutual efforts in the fight against doping in sport and to bring the NADC anti-doping program in line with the World Anti-Doping Code and relevant International Standards. The World Anti-Doping Agency, in turn, will encourage and support the efforts of the parties, as well as monitor the progress of tasks and projects under the terms of the agreement.

Cooperation between NADC and POLADA will be carried out in the following areas:

– advising on the development of the organizational structure of the NADC, anti-doping rules and regulations and the anti-doping program in general;

– conducting joint informational and educational events, trainings and consultations;

– consulting and exchange of experience between sample collection personnel  on the organization and implementation of testing in accordance with the International Standard on Testing and Investigation.

This project will start in the second quarter of 2022 and will last for three years until December 2024. The main stages, tasks of cooperation and the course of their implementation will be spelled out in the Project Plan. The main activities under the agreement will consist of project meetings and “intermediate” working periods. POLADA will act as a mentor for our NADO, will monitor the implementation of tasks, help to correct shortcomings and indicate success.

Both sides of the agreement hope for fruitful and successful cooperation, which will result in the establishment in our country of the strong National Anti-Doping Organization and the relevant anti-doping program, which will be in line with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards.
